Let the small things find you.
The Wondergarden is an original enchanted garden, with terraced beds, an old flowering tree and a carved pool above a quiet valley.
Wake the garden.
Meet its flowers and water, invite wandering lights, and leave a little room for a door made of light. Each instrument gives a visible response in the world. Keep discoveries in the browser’s album and return to them later.
A world that keeps surprising you.
Wisps, airborne runes, blossoms, floating lanterns, a luminous portal and a falling star are six original companion wonders. They can arrive occasionally, or be invited directly. The world almanac includes controls for the light, weather, sky, camera and these encounters.
These places and events are artistic inventions for this website, separate from the novels’ events.

A slower kind of place
The garden asks for no grand entrance. Follow the water, and let the branches show you where the light has settled.
On screen: The broad garden opens beneath the flowering tree. Near leaves move gently aside while the registered pool keeps a small reflection of the sky.
At the water’s edge
One ripple can touch a wide circle without hurrying. Watch where it reaches, and leave the next circle room to grow.
On screen: The camera approaches the carved pool from below the terrace. Three narrow ellipses expand inside its inspected water boundary.
Room between the notes
As daylight leaves, the small details remain. Inside a circle of still water, the garden has already become night.
On screen: A chronoscope aperture reveals the registered night painting over the pool. Fine brass rings and a restrained seed-shaped mark frame its reflection.
A door the leaves have left
Above the pool, the leaves leave an opening. For one quiet moment, it seems to lead farther than the sky should go.
On screen: The night garden opens through a morphing seed-shaped aperture. Stars remain behind the canopy while a small geometric opening gathers over the water.
The sea above the sky
Through the opening, an impossible sea hangs overhead. Beneath it, a small island carries its instrument into the dark.
On screen: A large brass-edged aperture reveals the original Inverted Sea artwork. Its ocean ceiling, lower-right island, and small instrument remain visible together within the opening.
A drop of another distance
The opening closes, and the pool is only a pool again. A single widening ripple is enough to make you look twice.
On screen: The complete garden returns through a soft ink-like reveal. A small ripple spreads across the pool while the impossible view gives way to familiar branches.
Leave a little room
Stay a while, or carry the question onward. The garden is most alive when there is room for something you did not expect.
On screen: The wide garden returns beneath its flowering tree. A handful of pale petals rise through the lower foreground while the night and its open spaces remain visible.
